Since 1978, Richard Downs, D.D.S., founder of Abbadent Center for Cosmetic Dentistry has been practicing dentistry in Dubuque, Iowa. The dental center originally started out being located at the Grandview Medical Center. It grew out of that area and moved to the present location at the Inn Plaza in 1985. It expanded again in 2004 to over 5500 square feet of space in the same location. The center now has a total of three dentists, three hygienists, one hygiene assistant, one accounts coordinator, an esthetician, five dental assistants, four front desk schedulers, and marketing and human resources associate. Dr. Aaron Rauen joined the practice in August, 2004 and is originally from Farley. Dr. Carrie Borchardt joined the practice just two weeks after Dr. Rauen and is from Marion, Iowa. Dr. Richard Downs is proud to announce that Dr. Aaron J. Rauen has become a full partner and co-owner of the dental practice. Since joining the practice in August of 2004, Dr. Rauen has enjoyed the community of patients he has had the privilege to serve. We look forward to a long and rewarding career of leadership from Dr. Rauen and Dr. Borchardt at Abbadent Dental.
